4” wafer butterfly valve
1. Opening and closing is convenient, fast, labor-saving, has small fluid resistance, and can be operated frequently.
2. Simple structure, small size and light weight.
3. It can transport mud with minimal liquid accumulation at the pipe mouth.
4. Under low pressure, good sealing can be achieved.
5. Good adjustment performance.
Disadvantages
4” wafer butterfly valve
1. The operating pressure and operating temperature range are small.
2. Poor sealing.
Butterfly valves can be divided into offset plate type, vertical plate type, inclined plate type and lever type according to their structural forms. According to the sealing form, it can be divided into two types: soft sealing type and hard sealing type. The soft seal type usually uses a rubber ring seal, and the hard seal type usually uses a metal ring seal.
According to the connection type, it can be divided into flange connection and wafer connection; according to the transmission mode, it can be divided into manual, gear transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric
Our wafer body butterfly valve is engineered as a high-performance, space-saving flow control solution for demanding industrial piping systems. Designed with a compact wafer style structure, this valve is installed between pipe flanges using through-bolts, significantly reducing installation footprints, structural weight, and overall pipeline tension compared to traditional flanged alternatives.
As a dedicated wafer style valve manufacturer, we prioritize structural integrity and long-term sealing reliability. The precision-cast wafer body features heavy-duty wall thickness and optimized face-to-face dimensions conforming to international standards like API 609 and ASME B16.10. To guarantee absolute zero-leakage performance in corrosive, abrasive, or general utility media, the valve incorporates an advanced rubber lined valve seat. Our vulcanized or cartridge-type rubber liners (available in EPDM, NBR, Viton, or PTFE-lined options) are securely bonded to the body to prevent liner displacement or deformation under high-velocity flow and cyclic operations.
The streamlined disc design minimizes pressure drop and turbulence, ensuring excellent hydrodynamic characteristics. The dry-shaft design isolates the stem from the media, eliminating potential external leakage pathways and extending the valve's operational lifespan in water treatment, chemical processing, power generation, and HVAC systems.
We provide full customizable configurations, including pneumatic, electric, and manual lever/gear actuators to fit your automated control loops. With strict pressure testing conducted on every single unit before dispatch, our product delivers the reliability procurement managers require for low-maintenance, high-efficiency projects
